There's nothing like spending a WHOLE DAY chipping away at faded and broken Jurassic pink 80's poolside drainpipe to replace it with sparkling white 60's pebbles.
My princess hands are not used to this manual labour. In the time it takes me to do a quarter of it Grant has given the entire bathroom a second coat of paint.
I 'm only half way through the second quarter and he has whipped around the whole back yard with the lawn mower.
It's not until he notices I have accidentally pinged a few bits of old pipe into the pool that he takes over ..... and chips the whole pipe thing out in about an hour while I arrange my new pebbles.
I'm very happy with the glamorous new look - and you can also see the new sheers we have hung in the liberace monstrosity, soon to be re-named the sex and the city cabana.
