Back to the Glamour Pad

We're heading back to the Glamour Pad - yay!

Disneyland was a blast but so. many. people. The fire department shuts them down after 80,000 mouseketeers enter the park, and there were 78,000 the first day we went - BIZEE

We're all agreed the vintage rides are adorable and our favourites were "It's a small world", and "The enchanted Tiki Room". (also the tea cups)

Space Mountain was Brendon's first roller coaster ride - EVER - the men somehow finagled a genius queue jump and we all squealed like school girls on Indiana Jones, David may have diptheria after being squirted in the face with plaster elephant nose water on the jungle cruise, and of course Brendon's big 'ol pickle. happy memories.

After being away from the glamour pad we are full of new glamorisation plans - Grant is going to paint my bathroom, bedroom wallpaper is GO and the liberace light on the outdoor monstrosity must go.

It takes no time to slip back into our daily routine of breakfast on the lanai, a bit of pool time, and a lazy start to our day. We are also on nana time and seem to be tucked up in bed before midnight every night - GO CRAZY HIPSTERS!

David & Brendon are hiring bikes for a couple of days to explore the architectural details of our little town, and Grant and I are off to our usual haunts - touching things in the vintage stores along Palm Canyon Drive, stocking up at The Home Depot and our new favourite store - True Value, the gayest hardware store in Gayville.

Life is perfect - someone pour me a drink.
