CHAIRS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How long can I be kept in suspense over these freakin' chairs!

I was so excited when the truck pulled up outside our house ... but a pallet had gotten lodged onto the door thingy so the driver couldn't open up the truck door!

Solution: reverse back to the end of our street, then STEP ON IT doing a giant truck burnout in front of our house and see if you can dislodge the pallet.

It seemed not only to work, but to leave an excellent impression on all the neighbours at the same time.

Into the house come six giant boxes of CHAIRS!!!!!!!!!!! - soooooooooo exciting! We open the first box and the chair has a RED cushion - not the black we ordered - what the ..... second box .... red, third, fourth, fifth box .... ALL RED!

I am so desperate I would have kept almost any colour, but with my bridal colours of orange and acqua - not RED!

We don't even bother opening the sixth box as the driver would prefer it sealed if we are returning them (he is almost as poo faced about it as we are) - We try to call Lexington Modern but no answer so we seem to have no option but to .... return the chairs ......

I am a little teary as i wave them goodbye - so close, and then ... NO CHAIRS :-(
