the house looks AMAZING. Tom was styling out the back yard when we arrived, and Dennis and Kevin had been past to tape a big welcome sign on the front door and to leave us am AMAZING collection of flamingo themed treasures they have been collecting for us all year. Flamingo beach towels, toothpicks and swizzle stix. Flamingo shower curtains, serviettes and outdoor lights. LOTS and LOTS of flamingoes - and also ... FRENCH CHAMPAGNE cooling in the fridge! oh happy days - what a lovely welcome.
WE crack the champagne IMMEDIATELY and vow to try and stay awake until night time to avoid jet lag. Grant falls asleep immediately. We jump in the pool. Peter falls asleep - Grant wakes up. We go to the supermart - Jane and Grant fall asleep - peter wakes up. He watches some TV and falls asleep - Grant and Jane wake up. We watch some Tv and fall asleep - I think we're all asleep - until 4am ... and then 6am ... and then 8am - jet lag - you won the battle, but I think we won the war.
Now we're on LOCAL time .... because we're LOCALS darling!
