OMG -Do you LOVE it!???

I got this for $35 at Retro Vegas, and if I could see into the future I would say that in about two weeks time i will see EXACTLY the same vintage glamour poodle in the Dazzles midcentury store in Palm Springs for $150!!!!

I also got a vinyl pucci ice bucket, and some pink flamingoes for the palm springs glamour pad back yard (and poor Grant is coughing up a fur ball wondering how to get them back to PS)

This is the best. store ever. Grant and I want EVERYTHING - we see a huge circular gold silk ottoman with a big button in the centre, and an AMAZING pair of atomic vintage lamps we want - we start talking shipping to the lovely retro vegas man but the glamour kittens eyes are beginning to glaze over and everyone is in the limo ready to get going except us - we vow to visit the store again before we leave but alas it never happens.

I am VERY happy with my pucci and poodle combo, too happy to even be jealous of Miss Louise, who has found beautiful vintage glass Christmas balls, and a nativity cookie cutter set!!! (Oh how I would love to bake a baby jesus, a camel and the virgin mary)

Did I mention the Retro Vegas man knew who we were when we arrived??? "Miss Jane and the tappers!!!" WHAT!? It appears he has been reading the vegas blog! I am blown away (and make a note to self that you really never know who is reading your blog - YOU!??? who the hell are you????????)

anyhoo, the poodle is popped into the limos ice chest and we are off to the happiest place on earth - Frankies Tiki Room.
