Man, we are EXHAUSTED.
The next 3 days are a blur of lots of sleep, no alcohol,carpet picnics and did I mention we have a GIANT BATH - heaven!
The palace de la Ceasar has great coffee downstairs, I recall a ceasar salad being eaten in the ceasars palace, we also tried a pinks hot dog, and I re-discovered the reeses peanut butter cup - curiously sweet AND salty.
We took a long walk down the strip in the sunshine to the fashion show mall where Grant went berserk in ZARA and I found a second Bettie Page store - with a SALE ROOM!! (i now have a beautiful red cocktail dress in my collection so please invite me over for cocktails SOON!)
We spent a few hours in the Imperial Palace Auto museum - interesting even to me, and worth it just to ask the concierge how to get there ... "OK, so you'll head towards marges diner - that's not it, and when you see the elevator - that's not it, so you'll go past the elevator to the big tree - and that's not it, so go around the big tree and head to the staircase -that's not it, so get in the lift and go up to the third floor - that's not it, so turn left and then ask for directions because that' not it."
Vegas moves FAST and the changes in the last three years since we were last here are huge - Aria, the Cosmopolitan, the Palazzo and Wynn encore...yikes!
We're loving it all but at the same time we're itching to get back to the Palm Springs Glamour Pad and see what's been going on.
So we're blowing this candy store - viva las vegas.
